2011 Volkswagen CC Sport

Posted: Thu. Nov. 21 12:02:29 2019

Beautiful vehicle. Fun to drive. SUV gas performance. I've owned my 2011 for three years (approx 30k miles). In that time: Rear main seal replaced $1800. Cam shaft and all related parts $4000. Timing chain tensioners $1800. Carbon buildup cleaning $400. Motor mounts $1000. At the time of this review, it is currently receiving it's second (2nd) transmission replacement in three years. $4000. (The previous owner replaced it right before selling the car to me, at a discount.) This doesn't include all the regular wear and tear items $1000 brakes, $300 in oil changes. $600 rear shocks. $400 front control arm, and a whole list of other things that wouldn't be that big of a deal on other vehicles. Pros: They look great. They're fun to drive. Cons: They drop like a rock in value. They are expensive to keep on the road.
